Born in 1971 in Almaty. In 1994 he graduated with honors from the Almaty State University named after Abai with a degree in Russian language and literature. In 1995-1997 he studied in graduate school at the department of Russian and foreign literature in the specialty "Theory of Literature". In 1997 - 1998 he studied at the University of Dortmund (Germany) in doctoral studies at the Institute of German Language and Literature on scholarships of Deutscher Akademischer Austaschdienst (German Academic Exchange Service).
He worked at the school as a private tutor and teacher of the Russian language for foreigners. In 1999-2002 - lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations at the Kazakh-German University in Almaty (subject Actuelle Stunde). Since 2005 - teaching at the Media School, opened at the International Center for Journalism MediaNet. Since 2004 - coach at a number of seminars and trainings - on journalistic investigation, on legal and financial journalism.
Since 1994, he has published a number of articles in Kazakhstan’s central socio-political and scientific publications., He has authored programs on private Almaty channels. From 1998 to 2004 he worked in the newspaper Panorama, where he covered financial, legal and political spheres.
